Our 2007 Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of lemongrass, quince, lime zest and wet stone. The palate is a perfect balancing act between the weight of extended lees contact and fresh, vibrant acidity; the long, mouthwatering finish underscores the strength of this great vintage.

Saracina Petite Sirah 2007
Our 2007 Petite Sirah exhibits an inky blue/black color and vivid black raspberry, blackberry, floral and white pepper notes. It is a full-bodied wine with generous, supple tannins that are typical of the vintage. This wine is accessible now but could easily be held for a generation. With fruit of this quality, winemaking becomes almost an afterthought.

Saracina Petite Sirah 2005
Our 2005 Petite Sirah exhibits an inky blue/black color and vivid black raspberry, blackberry and floral notes. It is a big wine but surprisingly civilized and supple on the palate. The wine is accessible now but is worthy of holding for a generation.

Saracina Pinot Noir 2007
Generally, the Anderson Valley runs to an elegant, nuanced, silky style of Pinot Noir, and our aim was to respect the fruit and the vineyard and emphasize those attributes. Our 2007 vintage was handled gently throughout, and it is certainly manifest in the finished wine. The nose is compelling, with perfumed, spicy cherry and plum fruits and subtle oak undertones. The palate exhibits very supple tannins with balanced acidity, and the finish carries well. This is a great example of true Pinot Noir from a banner year and a superb site.

Saracina Syrah Rodgers Creek Vineyard 2006
Black garnet in color, this stunning wine offers a nose of white pepper, green olive, dried herbs, bacon fat and maple syrup. The palate is equally impressive, with ripe black fruits, game and a smoky inner mouth perfume. It is a true expression of extended California ripeness, in a very cool site, with more than a suggestion of the Northern Rhone. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 to 10 years.

Saracina Syrah 2005
The saturated purple/black color of our 2005 Syrah is a giveaway that this is serious wine. The nose shows intense blue and black fruits with smoke, bacon and dried herb notes. On the palate the wine shows impressive richness and depth, oak is well integrated and tannins are supple. The wine is a superb expression of the minerality and delineation that high elevation vineyards can achieve with careful and thoughtful winemaking.

Saracina Zinfandel 2007
Highly concentrated, our 2007 Zinfandel is deep on blackberry fruit with sweet soil and spice notes. The palate is balanced and supple with a layered richness and enough tanning to ensure even more sophistication in years to come.

Atrea The Choir 2008
The hugely aromatic nose of apricot, honeysuckle, orange blossoms and jasmine has become the hallmark of The Choir. The palate carries similar flavors with emphasis on pitted fruits. It sports richness without excess weight. Wine can be powerful and vibrant simultaneously when made well, as The Choir demonstrates. This wine will appeal to the "ABC" (anything but chardonnay) crowd.

Atrea Old Soul Red 2006
Dark ruby in color, this wine's nose reveals ripe strawberry and red raspberry fruit, mocha, a hint of white pepper and a side note of classic Malbec baking spices. The flavors are jammy, ripe and expressive, and the tannins are creamy, supple and well integrated. Well-proportioned and balanced, juicy but not overripe, this vintage continues to deliver the Old Soul Red message of imminent, satisfying drinkability on release without sacrificing the merits of aging potential.

Atrea Old Soul Red 2005
This unique blend of Mendocino County’s iconic grapes has deep and well defined aromas of boysenberry, blackberry and creamy oak. The palate is fully ripe and well fleshed out, sporting plumy black fruit and supple, soft tannins. It is structured enough to hold well in bottle for years, but the fruit is so appealing that I would start drinking it now.
