Saracina Sauvignon Blanc 2006
The 2006 Saracina Sauvignon Blanc is a penetrating, sharply focused wine that shows the complexity of old vines and old clones. The palate is crisp and mouth-watering but with an intense mouth-feel and long finish that are products of the extended lees aging and batonnage. The aromas of lime, pink grapefruit, white peaches and jasmine recall a Loire-style sauvignon blanc. This vintage is our most uncompromising, mineral-laden sauvignon blanc to date.

Saracina Petite Sirah 2005
Our 2005 Petite Sirah exhibits an inky blue/black color and vivid black raspberry, blackberry and floral notes. It is a big wine but surprisingly civilized and supple on the palate. The wine is accessible now but is worthy of holding for a generation.
Limited Production: 268 cases
Saracina Syrah 2005
The saturated purple/black color of our 2005 Syrah is a giveaway that this is serious wine. The nose shows intense blue and black fruits with smoke, bacon and dried herb notes. On the palate the wine shows impressive richness and depth, oak is well integrated and tannins are supple. The wine is a superb expression of the minerality and delineation that high elevation vineyards can achieve with careful and thoughtful winemaking.
Limited Production: 223 cases
Saracina Zinfandel 2006
The wine's medium ruby color is followed by glorious perfume, rose petal and briary aromas that are the hallmark of the Du Pratt clone when well crafted. On the palate, this Zinfandel skirts the edges of extra ripeness but remains focused and expressive, finishing with deep, concentrated and unctuously textured flavors that suggest pairing with smoky barbecue fare or a simple prosciutto pizza.

Atrea The Choir 2007
The hugely aromatic nose of apricot, honeysuckle, orange blossoms and jasmine has become the hallmark of The Choir. The palate carries similar flavors with emphasis on pitted fruits. It sports richness without excess weight. Wine can be powerful and vibrant simultaneously when made well, as The Choir demonstrates. This wine will appeal to the "ABC" (anything but chardonnay) crowd.
Limited Production: 836 cases
Atrea Old Soul Red 2004
The soft, spicy aromatics of this New World-style blend introduce a supple, jammy fruit palate with a long, velvety finish. This wine yields aromas of dusty blackberries (zinfandel) rich, earthy soil (syrah), blueberry pie (malbec), and a dash of pepper (petite sirah). The flavors range from black cherry and chocolate to dark spices and game. Our proprietary wine-making protocols soften the tannins to produce a polished young wine that's sophisticated yet approachable. This is a crowd-pleasing wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared.

Saracina Petite Sirah 2003
What can you say about a wine that makes itself? These old-vine grapes were sourced from low-yield, head-pruned, organic vineyards that were first planted in 1948 in the McDowell Valley. This petite sirah has beautiful deep garnet color, aromas of smoke, ripe blackberries, and a whiff of black pepper. This rustic but polished wine has pronounced mouth-coating tannins and depth that expand with aeration.

Saracina Syrah 2003
The wine sings with classic roussanne/viognier aromatics of orange blossoms, honeysuckle, jasmine and nectarines. The broad, lush palate and harmonious acidity reflect the low-yield, alluvial gravelly clay loam soils and the warm climate of the inland Sanel Valley, which are ideal for white Rhone varietals. This wine reminds us of a refreshing orange creamsicle on a beautiful summer day.
